Anamnesis is your browser’s living memory. It captures sessions, extracts useful observations, and builds an evolving knowledge graph of your digital life, turning everyday browsing into context that is actually useful.

Proudly presented by the Phi Browser team, Anamnesis brings one of Phi Browser’s core capabilities into a standalone extension you can start using today. It is designed as a simple way to begin building your personal browser memory now, while leaving the door open to a deeper, more integrated experience in Phi Browser.

Your memory stays under your control. You can view it, edit it, delete it, or export it whenever you like. That exported memory can be used with Phi Browser or with other AI tools and services, giving you genuine ownership over a layer of context that is deeply personal to you.

Anamnesis is ready as soon as you sign in with your Phi account. Phi Cloud provides the model Anamnesis uses to understand, organise, and compact your memory over time, so there is nothing to configure and no API key required. You can also bring your own API key and use a provider of your choice, switching between the two at any time.

When you use Phi Cloud, your memory data is processed securely through our infrastructure. We do not store it on our servers or use it to train models. When you bring your own API key, any cloud-based model interaction happens directly between you and your chosen API provider. Phinomenon does not sit in the middle of that relationship and does not provide proxy processing for your memory. Whichever option you choose, we do not collect your browser memory in the operation of Anamnesis.
