About Phinomenon
Phinomenon is built by browser and cloud veterans: our founders are behind FydeOS (a Chromium-based OS trusted by millions) and QingCloud (one of China's earliest API-first IaaS platforms, founded in 2012). Fresh off a healthy, eight-figure Series A raise, we have the runway to dream big without panicking about next week's payroll. With folks working from San Francisco, London, Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen, we are proudly global and friendly to your time zone, with overlapping hours so we can all actually talk. We ship fast and ship hard, but burnout is so last decade: we bake in wellness stipends, mandatory recharge days and flexible schedules, because great code comes from healthy lives. No timecards, no surveillance software, no weekend team-building. We'd rather hand you the best tools money can buy (Claude Max, ChatGPT Business and Cursor Ultra come standard) and trust you with them. We don't fetishise years of experience, degrees or big-tech logos, and fresh graduates are more than welcome: show us what you have built and how you think. If you want to build the nextgen browser that actually, you know, gets you, while still enjoying your evenings and maintaining upright posture, welcome home.
About the Role
As a Global Operations and Growth Specialist at Phinomenon, your job is simple to describe and difficult to fake: help more people discover, understand, try and keep using Phi Browser.
We are looking for someone who understands what travels on the internet, what earns attention, what gets shared, and what gets people to care. This could be someone who has grown an X account, run a YouTube channel, built an audience, made posts that consistently hit, or simply knows how to package things so they spread. You do not need to come from a corporate marketing background. You do need taste, instincts, speed and a sharp feel for internet culture.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute growth initiatives that increase awareness, downloads, activation and retention for Phi Browser across global markets.
- Own day-to-day social media operations across relevant platforms, including content planning, publishing, community engagement and performance tracking.
- Develop and adapt content for different channels and audiences, from launch posts and short-form social copy to campaign concepts, creator briefs and community updates.
- Identify, test and scale growth channels including organic social, community-led distribution, partnerships, creator collaborations, launch platforms and niche online communities.
- Work closely with product, design and engineering teams to turn product updates, features and differentiators into clear, sharp and compelling user-facing stories.
- Coordinate global campaign operations across time zones, making sure launches, announcements and experiments happen on time and without chaos.
- Track key funnel metrics, campaign performance and user feedback, then turn findings into concrete recommendations and rapid follow-up actions.
- Build lightweight but effective operational systems for content calendars, campaign planning, asset coordination, publishing workflows and reporting.
- Engage directly with users and communities, gather qualitative insight, surface market signals and help the team understand what resonates and what falls flat.
- Support product launches, release communications, waitlist growth, referral mechanics, community programs and other acquisition efforts as the company scales.
- Maintain a high bar for taste, consistency and clarity in how Phi shows up publicly, even when moving at startup speed and under startup levels of entirely avoidable chaos.
Requirements
- You know how attention works on the internet, not in theory, but in practice.
- You have run, built or meaningfully grown a social media account, content channel or online community with real engagement. That is the resume; nothing else on it matters as much.
- You can write sharp, native-sounding English for the internet, from posts and replies to launch copy and short-form content.
- You have a strong instinct for what makes people click, share, react, try and talk.
- You move fast, generate ideas quickly and are comfortable testing, posting and iterating in public.
- You care about outcomes, not just output. Views are nice. Real users are better.
- You are deeply online in a useful way.
- You do not need hand-holding, corporate process worship or ten meetings to make one post.
Nice to Have
- You have grown an X account, YouTube channel, TikTok, Instagram, Discord, Telegram community, newsletter or similar audience to a meaningful size.
- You have made content that travelled beyond your existing follower base.
- You are good on camera, good behind the camera, or good enough at packaging content that other people look better because of you.
- You have worked on a product launch, app launch or community-led growth effort before.
- You understand startup speed, meme velocity and the difference between brand sludge and something people actually care about.
- You are into browsers, AI products, consumer tech or the weird corners of the internet where early adopters hang out.
- You have the vibe of a creator, operator, builder or internet gremlin, not a corporate performance marketer.
