Phi 2.11.0

Phi Browser 2.11 moves the Chromium core to r152, gives sidebar chat a more thoughtful start, and makes it easier to return to whatever you were talking about. Context is quite useful. Particularly when you've forgotten it.

The sidebar chat box now starts in the center and slides down when you send your first message, with suggested Skills matched to the page you're on. Conversations also remember their original page and Tab Group, letting you jump back to both later. A summary of a long article should probably retain some acquaintance with the article. We've also dropped the automatic greeting. You know we're here.

Memory is easier to reach, with its own icon and a shorter menu. Widgets get improvements to usability and performance, while Reader View now shows when it's preparing an article. A small courtesy, but staring at a screen wondering whether anything is happening remains a poor leisure activity.

Private AI gets more reliable compatibility across supported models and providers, including Ollama, LM Studio, and Apple Foundation Models, with improved routing and fallback handling. We've also tightened privacy controls: incognito browsing stays out of Memory.

Elsewhere, we've improved Space switching, signing in from guest mode, incognito browsing, and multilingual input, alongside a little tidying around the sidebar. We have also redecorated the New Tab Page a little bit, no grand theory behind this one, we just want it to look rather nice.
